The Lists

The year is 2022, America is in the midst of a peaceful but politically threatening revolution. In every state protest are beginning to arise, except for Alabama who took the next step to secede from the union, this vote was lost by two. Fearing another Civil War President Raymond Langford issues martial law to help extinguish the protest and to prevent the states from seceding. Soon, protest became violent causing mass civilian injuries and casualties along with military death and injuries also. President Ontario sensing his power being threatened has congress and senate dismantled to give himself “Temporary Emergency Power”. This announcement was shocking to hear and only gave the revolutionaries more gasoline to feed their flame for reform.
Months pass and the protest are growing bloodier by the day mass casualties are taken by both sides. The president naturally repeals the second amendment, with this being revoked he creates a new agency the ’ARA’ (Arms Removal Agency). The first business of the ARA is to have cameras put up on every street corner in America. Day after day ARA cameras would catch an ARA agent knocking on the door asking for their firearms only to find themselves at the very end of the thing they were trying to control.
The head of the ARA shows these videos to the president and he is very distraught on seeing this. He then forces the ARA to go to households and force the guns away, if they resisted the homeowner will be shot on the spot. This however does not stop protest from rising in major cities, so the president came up with three list which consisted of yellow list, red lists, and blue lists. The people on the lists would be classified as following:

Blue Lists: people who are leading the rebellions and protests.
Red Lists: people who are following the Blue Lists into protests battlegrounds.
Yellow Lists: people who take no part in protests or pose no immediate threat.

To help classify people in the lists he sends military personnel to republican representatives and senators homes and has them arrested for the high crime of treason. The president who is acting as judge, jury, and executioner has them HUNG at the center of the state capital or in the county they represented, these were classified as Blue Lists figureheads. To classify Red Lists figureheads he simply orders the military to arrest any revolutionaries that are willing to surrender, the president orders them to be put into “Correction Camps”. Red Lists people would draw a number as soon as they got there, the number they drew was the order they were to be executed by digging their own grave and shot execution style in the back of the head. Yellow lists figureheads however would consists of liberal senators and representatives and people who had no part in the revolution and by having executions put on public access television they did not want part in this revolution.
